Editorial Review for Eagle Tavern – by Stephanie Laemoa
In Short
The indoor space has rock-star appeal with red and blue spotlights, metal decor and racy license plates. A pool table occupies the back of the room, except during concerts when it's replaced by a raised-stage. Thursday night's live music show features rock, blues or funk bands for a small cover fee. An enormous outdoor patio features two bar stations, a fire pit, heat lamps and wooden lounge chairs.

My favorite event in SF! A patio full of friendly dudes drinking a whole lot of beer and listening to great music. Also, DOUG rules!!
Pros: Crowd, Patio, Doug
Cons: Too short

My fav. place in SF. Friendly staff. Leathermen, hot bears, punk boys, gay rockabilly guys, skinheads + their girlfriends mingle to the sound of rock music. Finally a place that feels like home. I wish every city had a gay bar with this type of atmosphere. Check out the heated patio!
Pros: staff, inexpensive
