don't bother. I heard good things about this place, but I'm starting to wonder about my friends' tastes. The place is really crowded and the dance floor is way too small, even for the bad music that was playing. Worse were the bartenders. They gave us a wrong drink and none of the bartenders, even the one who made it, would help us. They were extremely rude. I would never go back there.

fun galore. went to this place on a friday night and had a blast. the dj was awesome, the dance floor was packed, the crowd was mostly young, well-groomed and single. the bartenders and drinks weren't bad, either. yes, it is a bit yuppified and not exactly representative of the mission's true colors, but heck, it's a great hangout!

Marinafied. Something has happened to the Mission, indicated by the SUVs parked in the meridian along Valencia Street. Along with Blondie's, everyone from the Marina converged on poor Skylark. It's got wonderful beats, so that's it's saving grace.

But sometimes, there's a leather-jacketed bouncer with a shaved head and a $5 cover, which ups the cheese factor.

Great Little Spot .... Perfect neighborhood hangout. The martinis are wet & the dj rocks!!! A must if you live in the neighborhood or want to try something out of your comfort zone! The crowd is great ..... very approachable, non-stuffy!
