Expansive, cheerful bar and restaurant hidden in South of Market.. In Short
This relaxed, owner-operated establishment (open weekdays and weeknights only) holds a special place in its regulars' hearts. The bar's community vibe stems from a collective love of sports--for which there are several TV screens--and pretense-free unwinding, either at lunch with a burger or after work. There are roughly 12 beers on tap, and a pool table and well-stocked jukebox round out the amenities. Another bonus: Smokers can light up legally here.
