This is the only place that serves pasta and "American" food within walking distance of my house, so I want to like it, I really do. But it is completely overpriced and the quality is so undeniably mediocre that I have to remind myself that some things just aren't worth liking. Every time I stop by or bring a friend to Rocco's, the reaction to the meal is always a disinterested shrug, like, "I could make this at home.. with more flavor." For example, in a rare mood for some "American" fare, I ordered a $4.00 milkshake from this joint. It tasted like chocolate milk. In fact, I think Hershey's chocolate sauce is probably less than $4.00. Next time, I will just go that route and save myself the energy. You should, too

This placed serves a mean breakfast...But if you want a good meal try lunch...Their Chicken Marsala is out of this world (got to have it over penne pasta)..They serve good salads and other pasta dishes that taste great also...Don't forget to try a little dessert before you leave... PROS: Cool place CONS: Could get really loud inside

We parked in the SOMA district at the end of our San Francisco/Sonoma vacation and we were starving! We walked around to find a place that was actually open and saw Rocco's from the corner. The food was fresh and really tasty. The staff was friendly and prompt in seating us. The atmosphere was different and fun. I bet they are busy during lunch!
