No glitz or glamour just plain good arss sushi! I should say no more I don't want to get this place packed up... but its also great for take out and eat in the comfort of your own home... down to the miso soup.
My favorites:
side salad
spare ribs

maguro (sushi)
ebi (sushi)
Love roll

- Pros: Great Food
Great Service, Breathtaking Deluxe Boxes
by josecuervo54
I came here on a Friday night, when the place was packed with hungry diners, yet the service was outstanding. No tourists to deal with here, only true locals, foodie adventurers, and sushi lovers. I ordered the dinner deluxe box (Chicken teriyaki), and I was caught offguard by the large amount of high quality food here!!! The waitress kept on coming with segments of the deluxe box. Soup, sushi, teriyaki/rice, tempura, and salad. The taste was well balanced with sweetness and seasoning. If you want to try a roll, there is a picture menu right on the table. In m opinion, I thought the decor complimented the atmosphere. Lighting and artwork were just right, no over doing it. Great value for the amount of food you get; grab a bottle of sake (it makes the meal experience so more relaxing) *Ample FREE parking in a garage.
- Pros: Quality food, service, great value, and Free parking
- Cons: Are you kidding me??
Inexpensive Sushi, Chicken Teriyaki is the best
by jim1974
This restaurant is located near the costco in San Fran, on the corner of the 16th and Potrero. This place isn't known for its decor - pretty non formal japanese interior, however the sushi is first rate. As far as teriyaki chicken goes, you have to try it. Its flavorful and moist, and delicious! doesnt even need teriyaki sauce. Most places put a piece of chicken on the grill, take it off and douse it with teriyaki sauce.
Staff is very friendly and the place is always packed for lunch and dinner.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Good food, Ample portions
- Cons: decor
