Great, Clean, Delicious Food.. I am an avid japanese food lover and I have been to this place many, many times. They do have alot of variety of sushi, sashimi, deep fried stuff and if youre into more exotic japanese stuff, they have it here or they will make one for you. The food is serve on a very attractive, clean settings. The service is warm, attentive and friendly. The have a sanraku frequent dining card for those who likes to eat at sanraku both here and at their other restaurant on sutter. The other sushi chef , senji or sunji used to worked here prior to moving to NYC and won the best sushi chef America. They used to have a pre fix price - 4 dinner course menu but for whatever reason, they dont have that anymore.

The restaurant is going to be closed Nov. 29 for renovations for 3 months and will re open later around March 2012.

Enjoy!

tasty, convenient and quick. Discovered Sanraku for lunch after reading the Citysearch reviews. Ordered the California roll and chicken terriyaki special... delicious. Good service and relaxing atmosphre. I found the pricing to be acceptable as well.

Editorial Review by Joanna Currier. Bamboo-strewn Japanese sushi bar and restaurant tucked in back of the Sony Metreon.

Best food-court sushi I've ever had. The Metreon could best be described as a well-heeled mall, catering to the tastes of the moderately affluent. The food court follows suit with some very decent to incredible eateries such as Sanraku. More of a miniature restaurant than a food court stop, Sanraku's sushi selection was varied and fresh, with hearty bento boxes for lunch. I loved it and would gladly come again!

food court sushi??. I can't say I was very impressed, but it serves me right for having high expectations for food court sushi. The service was friendly but I'd probably won't go back.
