RAY ANDERSON (THE PROP OF THE SHOP) IS A WALKING ENCYCLOPAEDIA OF RECORDED MUSIC. HE WAS SOUND/LIGHT MAN AT THE MATRIX, WAS (WITH COMPETENT CO HORTS) THE "HOLY SEE" LIGHT SHOW AND HAS BEEN A COLLECTOR AND PURVEYOR OF QUALITY VINYL SINC THE SIXTIES. UN FORTUNITELY HIS LOVELY WIFE HAS PASSED ON.

Out of the ordinary. Quite a hike to find this place. Not in the best neighborhood. Sign said they opened at 10, but at 10:15 still not there. Came back the next day, and it was better. Nice selection and staff was friendly.

A vinyl-only shop that's a DJ's dream.. In Short
Owned and operated by a colorful husband-wife combo, this indie vinyl shop -- cramped and cluttered with thousands of LPs (some still in their sleeves) -- is a fun-filled journey into the musical past. CDs are nowhere to be found, but the selection is still rich and varied, featuring an extensive, well-conditioned collection of jazz, classical and vintage rock. For the truly daring, French-vocal and instructional-Polka dance LPs are also ready for the taking.
