Happy now.
After an initially uncertain impression (see below), I can now advise that Ritz - Cindy - has done all that was asked but there was a gap in communication, ergo my misunderstanding!
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I want to be impressed by Ritz - but it hasn't happened yet! Having ordered, and paid for, two wedding bands, and arranging for them to be sent to a SanFran based friend (I'm overseas), I was advised that the rings would be ready in 4 days, and I would certainly have them before Christmas.
This was 16 November. One week after that, my SF friend received a call saying that they couldn't actually do one of the rings that they'd sold me and they could only offer a wider ring (man-sized!) than the girly-size I wanted. That was strike one.
It's now 9 December. My friend is still waiting for the rings to be sent to her. This is strike two.
Receiving them before Christmas is looking unlikely which is going to stuff up my plans for a wedding-anniversary event / party for my husband at Xmas. Not happy.
Still, 16 days to go. Maybe - just maybe - I'll be surprised and will be writing an update in 2 weeks' time.

Excellent Quick Service. I bought my fiance a ring yesterday at Ritz located in the Sf Jewery Mart. I was very impressed with non-salesy approuch and the quality of high-end setting they had. She is VERY satisfied. I bought it and they set it within an hour.

Exquisite engagement rings. Ritz has some of the most beautiful settings and diamonds that I have seen in the city. There is an incredible sense of style in all the pieces in the shop. Be sure to make and appointment...you will not be disappointed whether you are looking for an engagement ring or another piece of fine jewelry.
