A great find. Golden Bear does more than leather. They do some nice all-wool things. And, if you are looking for a "varsity" style wool and leather jacket, you need to check these folks out.

This place is a real find. I finally got around to stopping by after years of seeing their add in the Chronical sports section. The men's selection was awesome, but even with a limited women's selection my wife found a great one-off 3/4 length leather coat for $99. My lamb skin jacket was considerable more at $295, but it is absolutely top quality, with a full retail price in the $700 - $750 range. The woman who assisted us was extremely helpful, but not at all pushy.

I don't think they have weekend hours. Probably best to call ahead (415-863-6171). AND, the entrance is on 15th Street, not Potrero. So, do not be disconcerted by the empty looking building that fronts Potrero.
