Come the conclusion of Sunday services, the church's job has only begun. Glide serves three nutritious free meals a day, seven days a week. In addition, it runs an extensive drug recovery program and operates a crisis center that offers temporary shelter referrals, clothing and other basic necessities. Church workers also administer a job placement training program and provide free computer access and training to both children and adults through the "Computers and You" program. Finally, Glide has a women's drop-in center to offer counseling, parenting classes and domestic violence support.
