Dismissive, Arrogant, Rude

DO NOT GO HERE. This is only the 2nd time in my life I have written a review of something. I'm a native New Yorker and therefore do not need my hand held through day to day events. I am a thick-skinned person. Having said that, I have never been treated so poorly when it comes to the care of my health. I agree w. all the other negative postings regarding rude front desk staff, butafter my last visit I now know it's all coming from the top.

There isn't enough space for me to explain each god-awful thing that went wrong with this office: from the rude front staff, to NEVER being given the opportunity to see an MD until I demanded it (though the NP's are the best part), to the final straw of requesting to see a Gyn. MD (due to a gyn issue i was having & my new decision to go off the pill after 8 yrs) & having an INCREDIBLY RUDE GP (Jean Rhow -sp?) see me instead - mind you I figured this out myself by checking out website when i got home from my nightmare visit. When I called to explain that I was really upset by this & needed to not only reschedule with a Gyn MD but not be charged for this visit, the front desk put Rhow on the phone. She proceeded to become confrontational with me on the phone blabbering that she could do much of the same things a Gyn MD can (hello, inferior complex) & it got to the point where I had to raise my voice at her just to get a word in & put crazy-girl in her place. Def one of the most insane moments of my life.

Dr. Tessler (the clinic director) then took a full week to return my phone call and proceeded to tell me in a flat tone that i wasn't "a good fit" for their office (interesting). I told her I fully agreed since i expect to be treated with competence & respect at my physician's office. My insurance has since been charged for the visit even though Tessler said it wouldn't be. And when I called for a copy of my records, I was told that it would be $15-25 .

I now see Dr. Fung Yee Chan at 3838 Sacramento. She rocks!

Bayspring is anything but a bubbling spring

I had the unfortunate experience of working at Bayspring many years ago. I see not much has changed by what others have said here, in this forum! Lack of compassion, caring, respect, and understanding was in every department of Bayspring. I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years, and to this day, Bayspring was the worst working experience in my career.

Take your healthcare needs somewhere else, where you will be treated with kindness and respect! You do have the choice and the right to be treated better!

Receptionist and Office staff are horrendous

I needed a medication refilled and was very concerned about my health. The office staff was incredibly rude and hung up on me when I got upset about trying to get a temporary refill until the doctors returned. In addition the receptionist is so rude everytime I call. She acts annoyed that I am bothering her with making an appt. It creates anxiety and I plan to drop my doctor at Bayspring because of it. They need to upgrade their staff soon -- rude people are not worth my business!
