The Scene – When British expats Louise Baranowski and Tracey McAlister decided to open their own salon in San Francisco, they couldn't have made a smarter move. I have been going to Jess at Cowboys and Angels for less than a year and I am extremely happy with the haircuts I receive. She does a great job. I have had my color done by Sarah and also was very pleased.
- Pros: Love Jess!
- Cons: Atmosphere could be made a bit more cozy. Very cold.
Marie - Best Colorist Hands Down
by stylecomm
What can I say - Marie is a color god. I use a combination of tint, highlights and low-lights. My friend calls it 'high maintenance hair that looks low maintenance'. I consistently get complimented on how beautiful my 'natural' color is - even by total strangers. She creates a warm honey hue with just the right balance of light to rich-dark color ratio. Marie is so assured about her craft, she makes it look effortless. A big plus - she's the kind of person who's fun to talk to, but she also gets it when you want down time, so it's always a comfortable experience.
- Pros: Near shopping, Muni & BART
- Cons: No good inexpensive parking options
