Editorial Review for Cowboys & Angels – by Erin Cullerton
The Scene
When British expats Louise Baranowski and Tracey McAlister decided to open their own salon in San Francisco, they couldn't have made a smarter move. Hailing from London's upscale Sloane Street district, Baranowski and McAlister have taken modern hairstyling to a new extreme. In fact, their industrial-chic salon and gallery is known for drawing a decidedly cool clientele--after just one peek, you'll see why.
The Services
The international crew of stylists mirrors the owners' main objective: to bring creative flair and passion to hairdressing. Whether you're feeling conservative or daring, stylists here make sure you get what you want. You can always look forward to a decadent experience that begins with a luxurious shampoo and scalp massage performed by one of the aspiring assistants. While the salon doesn't do extensions or perms, this is the place to come for funky color, highlights or a great, cutting-edge 'do.

My husband went to this salon because I recommended it to him..I heard about it through a friend. Anyways, he was very upset with his haircut and on top of that the stylist was extremely defensive when he told her he wasn't happy. The stylist Nicole not Krepps who is now on maternity leave did not have good customer service skills. I was upset that I sent my husband to this overly priced salon. Do not recommend.
Pros: none
Cons: not made to feel like a valued customer

If you had trouble at this salon like me, take a drive to Sacramento and get your hair done by Elon at Deeda Salon. So worth the drive! Best cut and color ever! Never been this happy with my hair!
