In Short
The stylists at this neighborhood salon specialize in creating looks that are flattering, outrageous and ultrachic. The price of the services depends on the individual stylist's rates, but haircuts start at $40, coloring at $60 and perms at $85. They also specialize in Fudge dyes, which can transform your tresses into shades of deep-sea blue or hot and wild red. Included in every service is a free and magnificent head massage.

I generally had a good experience with this hair salon. BUT: Beware their late policy of 15 minutes (which they don't bother to advertise either). One night I called to say I was there but was looking for parking (there was an opera going on apparently), and I'd be there as soon as I found a spot. I walked in literally exactly 15 minutes after my appointment time, and even though I had called them, they refused to see me. I even said I'd skip having it blow-dried and just get a cut. They lost my business that night, as I had never heard of this policy before, and they couldn't be accommodating even when I had called them to tell them I was there. Not my idea of good customer service.

I'm done with having them screw up my hair. It has happened twice now. All you are paying for is attitude from badly dressed wannabe punk rockers. My stylist decided that she didn't feel like standing anymore during my color and cut, so she asked one of the others to wash the color out and then left me with extremely excessive amounts of die all down my neck. When she asked the othr person to help, that person basically grumbled and said no to the stylist then grumpily agreed to help. Not a pleasant place to be, and all you are paying for is bad attitude, bad colors and cuts, and overall bad service..
Cons: Terrible service. Just try to get the front desk to do anything.
