This marvelous, 47-room inn boasts a rich history. It was built in 1927 to house opera stars who were performing at the Opera House and Symphony Hall, just steps away. Luxuriously low-key rooms are on the smallish side, but well-equipped with wet bars, mini-refrigerators and microwaves. Rates include a continental breakfast. Ovation at the Opera, which provides room service, features a pianist most evenings and serves after-performance desserts.
