In Short – This is the place for bargain hunters who don't mind being away from downtown. Faux California best describes the decor at this otherwise European-style hotel. The small lobby displays black-and-white tile floors, faux marble walls and faux copper lacquer furnishings. The 61 small rooms are not immune to street noise, but they are comfortable. Each is equipped with handsome antiques, a bright down comforter and a private bath that is clean and large, if not especially modern.
