Editorial Review for The Inn at Union Square – by Gayot.com

The Scene
Entering this hotel is like walking into the library of a genteel country manor. In many ways, this small, European-style property is more bed and breakfast than a standard boutique hotel. Small parlors invite cozy rendezvous on each floor, and continental breakfast and afternoon tea are served fireside.

The Details
The 30 rooms are inviting, if a bit fussy. Half are adorned with florals, canopies and Georgian furniture, while the rest have been redone in an airy, contemporary style. Most are furnished with king- or queen-size beds, down pillows and phones with voicemail and data ports. The penthouse suite pampers guests with a powder room, fireplace, bar, sauna and whirlpool tub. The suites, which face Post Street, can be a bit noisy.

User Reviews for The Inn at Union Square

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

We stayed here after getting engaged and had a great time. This was actually my 2nd time staying here. Very comfortable room and great, friendly staff. Plus is that they serve breakfast (with more options than just pastries and coffee/juice) in the morning and wine, cheeses, dried fruit and chocolates at dusk. A big plus is that it is close to EVERYTHING!
