Un endroit à voir!. J'ai eu la chance de découvrir par hasard ce petit café agréable; l'équipe est fort sympa, le café délicieux et les sandwichs variés et délicieux...un conseil:" allez-y!!"

Best little cafe around union square. When all the mom & pop places are disappearing, it's heartwarming to find one in the midst of all the chain stores doing a great job. Cafe Encore is right up from Union Square and has friendly service, excellent people watching, and most notably the best fresh-made sandwiches and salads. I've become hooked on their breakfast sausage croissant sandwiches with fresh farm eggs & cheese, their turkey pesto sandwich, and the Teriyaki Chicken Donburi. They make everything fresh and prices are very reasonable. Sandwiches are between $5.25 & $6.45 and you can order half sandwiches too. You must try the Asian Fusion Chicken Salad ( I don't know what's in that dressing, but it's very light & unidentifiably delicious), and their Frappe drinks--orgasmic. They have some outside seating and you can call ahead and take out. I am partial to small businesses, but this one deserves more attention. Cheers!
