Nothing is what it was.
I knew this place when it 1st opened. Very original: Ecto-Pesto, Vampire's Lament... The Countess Zave'. Great food, great prices. Now it is still good, but just very ordinary.
The guys who started it had a great concept and made it all fun. Now... it's just a slice of pizza...

Good, Cheap Pizza.
Tonight, I ordered a pizza for the first time from this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised! It was only $14 for a large pizza and it was pretty good. I won't claim that it was the most amazing pizza ever, but it was definitely a great pizza for the price. Also a plus, it only took 25 minutes from phone call to delivery. Definitely my new pizza place.

Worth a Stop.
I can't count how many times I've driven by this pizza place on Gough & wondered if it was any good. Stopped in yesterday - and the answer is definitely "yes." Much better than average New York-style pizza. One of the better slices I've had in SF.

Good, cheap pizza.
i really like the pizza here. you get a giant slice that is basically 2 slices for about $2.50 and thats enough for me for lunch. they have a touch of cinammon in their crust which i really like too. highly recommended for a cheap lunch in hayes valley.
