Beautiful dinning experience!.
My girlfriend and I definitely enjoyed our dinner at Cityscape restaurant. The view of San Francisco is gorgeous, especially when the sun sets and city lights brightening as it gets darker. The setting of the restaurant is very relaxing and romantic. The quality and taste of food is delicious. Their Tiramisu is one of the best I've tasted. The service is average, but attentive to diner's requests and needs. The price of our dinner was worth every penny and would definitely go back again!
It was a beautiful dinning experience for the both of us!
Good. I loved the view and the food. The food didn't take too long. Very nice inside. I recommend this place!
Worst Dining Experience EVER!. The view is just about THE ONLY quality thing you get. The hostess was on the phone, ignoring my mother until I came up and basically demanded a table. The waiter was inattentive and indicated that she had better things to do. We searched for a table ourselves and 25 mins later we were still waiting for any acknowlegement of our presence. Mind you, this was not peak hour and guests seated next to us had equal luck getting served. The food is priced higher than the quality would justify and the atmosphere is neither clubby nor romantic, it's an awkward mix of both. This restaurant/bar is a tourist trap that survives because it is inside a large hotel and many guests don't know where else to go. For a place that charges this much for food they need to work on their service.
The Best Food I Have Ever Had. I took my boyfriend to Cityscape for his birthday and I was skeptical at first whether the food and the service would measure up. But was I wrong it was fantasic. I ordered the filet mignon and it was well worth the $41 price. The meat was tender and tasty. The crab appetizer was great too. The most amazing thing the waiter did was bring my boyfriend a complementary birthday cake which was very thoughtful and sweet. I highly recommend Cityscape and the views are incredible!!!!!!
Great view, not much else.. Great view comes with a high price. You can find better quality food for les than a third of the price in this city. The lobster bisque had very little lobster, the steak was tough (Denny's quality), the lamb was also low quality, the sides were average, the service was ok. My guess is that they freeze all their meats.
WAY TO EXPENSIVE!. My wife and I stayed at the hilton and I knew Hotel Restaurants are rarely good and in this case I was so right! The prices are just way to high for the food they serve. The food was ok but 40 for a steak not one that was subpar to start. The waiter was ok and ambiance was like a dorm room. The view was about all it had going. I would not recommend this at all.
Tourist heaven. I am a tourist from Toulouse. I use Citysearch to find places to dine, and i visited your restaurant. Fabulous!! And that coming from a french citizen is quite a compliment!! The service is very friendly, the staff offered to take pictures from different angles of this magnificent restaurant! I am very impressed!! All my friends will visit this place when they come to San Francisco.
The best. My wife and I like this restaurant very much. We will come back every time we visit San Francisco. Great view, great service, great food...what more can you ask for??
Love the brunch. I was invited here for Mothers Day brunch. Quite a fancy affair!! We were presented a lovely orchid corsage the minute we were seated. Champagne, orange juice were offered immediately. Excellent, friendly service from the waitstaff, the chefs... Very nice view of Union Square.. Loved the waffles, the seafood bar, and oh, the desserts !!! Will come back, and will bring my friends and family.
Fantastic. Fantastic brunch, i'd never seen so much good food all in one place! All tables can enjoy the awesome view, they are mostly window tables. The top tier seems to be reserved for larger parties. Champagne glasses are refilled promptly, very pleasant service. The live music is soothing, they play requests too. Will definitely come back. This is an excellent restaurant for special occasions, out of town guests, or just to take out the stress after a busy work week.
