For all of those who complains with upset stomach; Indian or Pakistani food made with heavy duty spices and if you go to any of these restaurant ask them to prepare your food with mild spices. As far as quality and freshness of the food goes, you should know that every restuarant in bay area by law is required to cook your food at 300 degree F and there is no way you can get upset stomach from it. I have been to different indian and pakistani restuarants and I found Pakwan restaurant one of the best in town when it comes to taste and freshness of the food. This restaurant is always busy. Don't expect fine dining style service at 6 dollars a dish price. It is not a fine dining restuarant anf that is why prices are so low.

The food is really wonderful, fresh and also cheap! The naans and kababs can't be beat...especially for the price. The location is not that great-not sure how safe it is. The ambience is also not that good.

The food is consistently really good, and it's cheap. One dish per person is plenty. Throw in some naan and rice, and you're looking at $10 a person. I've never had to wait for a table -- I'm not sure I've ever seen it more than half full. Don't take that as a bad sign, I think most of their business is takeout. They don't serve booze, but you can bring your own. It's the TL, so there's tons of liquor stores around. Watch your head in the bathroom -- low ceiling, but it seemed really clean.
