Two small dining rooms with hardwood floors and red checker-clothed tables accommodate a steady stream of neighborhood locals who slurp spaghetti with pesto sauce or share a signature Stelline pizza topped with anchovies and black olives. A basket of house-made, parmesan-covered garlic bread is served with all entrees at both lunch and dinner.

We had a group lunch at Stelline with some coworkers to celebrate the season, and this was a great place. We all enjoyed the food - I had spaghetti with meat balls and I was really impressed. The service was quick and friendly. Although the place was quite small, it was intimate and bright. The price was reasonable - about $17/person, with drinks, without tip.

Delicious Italian food in a relaxed welcoming atmoshpere. The fusili and the peto are my favorites, but everything is good. I have been eating here for years and it has always been good. When I don't have time to sit and eat I call my order in and it is ready in minutes for pick up. The prices are fabulous and they serve large portions. They can fill up at dinner time, especially when the opera (etc...) is on, I think that they take reservations. Check them out, you will be happy.

Osso Bucco: My coworker took me for my first time, & I ordered the only thing she has ever ordered(Just like another favorite in Hayes Valley. Don't fix what aint broken. This was some of the best iutalian I've had in the city. Those meatballs were unbelievable...and smokey....yum....I want more right now!
