Simply THE BEST
by shannon94118
I found this company by simply doing a search online, and called based only on the good reviews. Boy, am I glad I did!
I noticed my car window was smashed on Friday evening, and when I phoned at 8:00 PM, someone actually answered and was as friendly as could be! He made an appointment for THE NEXT MORNING - SATURDAY at 9:30 AM! What other place does that?? Plus, they come to your house - you don't need to drive anywhere. The guy that came was on time, he was courteous, and he was done in about half an hour. He vacuumed the inside of my car very thoroughly so there was absolutely no glass in my car at all. After all was said and done, it only cost $170 for everything! I signed the paperwork, he handed me my key, and by 10:15 AM I pulled back into my parking spot and promptly entered their phone number into my contacts so that I can call them the next time (and every time) I need to. I'm so happy now, and I can enjoy my weekend. By the way, their name has changed to TLC Glass Inc. and they're located at 1174 Bryant St. now. Also, as a tip, if you go to TLC's website and make an appointment online, you get a discount of $20 (and same-day service).
- Pros: Friendly Staff, Fast Service, Great Price
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?
Great service at a great price

I called Glassco on the strength of the prior reviews. The owner is every bit as friendly and accommodating as the reviews suggest. He quoted me a great price ($225) to replace my cracked windshield (the result, I must confess, of a temper tantrum when my battery died for the third time in 2 weeks!) and was able to schedule the job right away. The work was done quickly and well, with no hassles or surprises.
By the way, the shop has moved and taken a new name. It's now "GlassMaster" at 1174 Bryant (10th Street). The phone number is the same.
- Pros: service, price
- Cons: none

Living in SF, it's likely your car window will be broken. Went out to the car at 1pm, noticed the window was smashed, looked up auto glass on city search, found these guys, by 3:30 pm, my ford escape had a brand new window. Only cost 150$. Excellent service and attitude.
