garlic sauce is a must on the sandwich. This sandwich shack has been around for at least the 30 years I have been going here. Great sandwiches and the special garlic house spread is wonderful. Make sure to get here early or late for lunch or expect a huge line.

Talk about a sandwich!. This place ROCKS!! Big appetites dream! They have this unique garlic spread they put on their HUGE and CHEAP sandwiches that will leave a taste for days, ok, maybe not days, but i dont recommend this place if your hanging out with someone you dont know really well or have a business meeting later! Cute, small, family owned and run a true treasure in the Bay Area!!

Good sandwich for a good price. Barebones sandwich shop in small shopping center. Sandwiches are made to order, generous in size, especially on those huge rolls and they're pretty darn good. The prices are quite reasonable but you can even request a "smaller" sandwich for $1.00 less, which will actually fill up most people. When I went in, there was a line of people but the staff had their act together and got the line moving fast.

I don't want to compare this to the legendary but pricier Molinari's in North Beach or Genova's in Oakland, who actually make most of their sandwich meat. Little Lucca isn't at that level but they are about as good a sandwich and value as you're going to find on the peninsula.

BEST Sandwich in the Bay Area. Been eating Little Lucca since I was 6. Everyone I know, who comes to visit wants to go to Little Lucca first thing! I know live in Seattle and there is nothing that can compare to this place. Fresh bread, garlic spread, hot sauce spread, and combinations are fantastic. But beware, if you try and show up between 11:45am and 1:00pm, you are in for a wait as this place is small and can only fit 4-5 sandwhich makers behind the counter. Call you order in! Well worth the wait!!

Best Sandwhiches I've ever had!!!. This is the best tasting sandwhich I have ever had. All I can say is that these sandwhiches are as big as your thighs. I can eat a lot but I can only finish half of it. On top of that, the sandwhiches are only $5-$6. The meat and the bread are very fresh. They put a garlic sauce on all of the sandwhiches which makes the very tasty. All I can say is that go try it out and you'll know what i'm talking about.
