Great Place to Eat & Fast Service. This place has the best Service and can accomadate you for large parties too. Our office goes to lunch at this place at least once a week. .I love they' re " bento Terriyaki chicken with California rolls" I tell you its the best!!!

Less than average Japanese food.. We found Kamameshi on CitySearch. It has good reviews so we decided to try it. We were seated promptly, and the service was okay. The place is noisy. It took a little long when we ordered sushi, the other food came fairly quick. The food/sushi was less than I expected based on the reviews, and when compared to other Japanese restaurants I've been to that serve sushi.

Good Japanese food when you're in the neighborhood. I had some friends visiting from France and they wanted sushi. I didn't want to drive all the way to San Francisco for the ones familiar to me so we ate here at Kamameshi. I've also been there for lunch.

I don't have any specific food recommendations because we all shared a table load of sushi and everything was good. I like the atmosphere, you really know you're in a Japanese restaurant.

Good food, love the tea and shiromiso. Food was great and at pretty good price. I love their tea and shiromiso. I love their spicy tuna sushi but the caterpillar rolls were below average. Beef teriyaki is good, and also tempura.

Terrible waitress and will never return. We were there pretty late one day and this waitress wants us to seat at the bar so she'll have less to do. We refuse and so we sat on a table. She didn't say a word to us throughout the whole meal and said thank you when we order our check. We gave her a lousy tip because of the service and she gave us a smart remark on her way out. I've been a customer at this place for over 10 years and have never been treated this bad. Food is always decent but not very authentic.

Everyone Must Try This Restaurant. This restaurant offers a variety of Japanese food, they have a pretty good menu, food is cheap for Japanese. Service is fast and friendly. Must go and give it a try!

Inexpensive, friendly wait staff. We go to this restaurant at least once a month! It's just nice uncomplicated Japanese food. Everyone's friendly. Although it gets a little small and noisy, there's some sense of privacy because the booths have TALL dividers. The menu offers a wide variety--including Kamameshi rice and soba--which we haven't found in any of the other Japanese restaurants in the area.
