waiter, there's a rubber in my soup. I work at kaiser permanente up the street from this restaurant. so i ordered a large soup here, and it came in two containers. i gave one of the containers to a doctor i work with, which he thought was a nice gesture. ten minutes later, the doctor comes up to me, asking where i got the soup. before i can even finish, he cuts me off and says, "never eat there again" he shows me a piece of latex rubber, either from a glove or con dom, and says that it was in his soup. imagine my embarrassment! Later, after work, i call the restaurant and try to speak to the manager and explain the situation. I ask for a refund, but instead the manager, Raymond, denies my request, stating i need proof, and then he offers me free soup next time i go there. would you want free soup from a place that puts rubber in their soup? If there is a health inspector out there reading this, i recommend that you check this place out. don't get me wrong, i don't want to see people lose their jobs or close a local buisness down, i just want to make sure that this mistake doesn't happen again.

It's the food, dummy. Pretty lacking in ambiance, but more than makes up for it with quality and variety of dishes. And service is reasonably friendly.
