Should you find yourself down Peninsula-ways, this is the spot to hit up for Creole and Cajun.

Exceptional food, GREAT service. My family have visited Creola at least a dozen times now. The flavors are distinct and the food nicely presented. They even served my young son fried pickles (not on their menu) after he returned from New Orleans and metioned how good they were! Exceptional service!!

Great food at great prices.. This place has the best Gumbo I've ever tasted. Monday's are Mardi Gras Madness where you can get a four-course meal for $25 (Appetizer, Soup or Salad, Entree & Dessert), What a Deal!!!! They have items on the menu for the folks who don't like spicy food too. A can't miss!!! Try it you'll like it.

Wonderful experience!. Excellent atmosphere, service and food. Crawfish, alligator and soft shell crab were especially good. Doing the CreoLa combination allows you to add soup, salad and desert to entree' for only $13. Make sure you get the beignets and chicory coffee. Food was absolutely fantastic! I'm just visiting and staying by the SF Airport and it was very easy to find - only 10 miles from SFO and easy to get to using 101. HIghly recommended!

Good food but the ambiance was just ok.... I took three freinds visiting from out of town here for dinner. I thought that the staff was very nice and the food was really good. The only negative thing that I would say is that it's not exactly the best looking place. It's really understated, made to look like a southern home (I guess). I was hopeing it would look a little more upscale or modern. I probably wouldn't take visiting guest here again BUT if you are looking for a good casual dinner this is the place!

It rocks!. Great cajun alifornia menu. The chef/owner is knowledgable and a gentleman. The food is top-shelf....the Ahi is my favorite and the bread pudding is some of the best in the west. Good wine menu, friendly staff.

Best Filet Mignon on the Peninsula. This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time - and I don't even eat seafood!! The salads are always fabulous and the filet mignon is by far the best I've found on the Peninsula. The service is always great and the wine list is reasonable and offers a substantial variety. The owner is very nice and sometimes comes by your table just to say hello and ask if everything is okay. It can get crowded and you should definitely have reservations. It's a great place for a romantic dinner for two, but I also go their with my parents.

Editorial Review. Intimate Creole restaurant serves regional seafood specialties like crawfish Etouffee, shrimp gumbo and catfish; beignets and bread pudding for dessert.

Delicious Food. Although I am no expert in Cajun food, I found the food here wonderful. The Crawfish Etouffee is my favorite, and I usually get this as an entree by itself (the menu has it as a combo). I also recommend going the route of adding soup, salad and dessert. The bisque and bread pudding are a must, and the bluenote salad is yummy. I have had several of their specials (lambchops, heirloom tomoto salad) and they have been excellent. The staff is friendly, the dining area is small, but the space between tables is comfortable. Definitely a nice place for a dinner date, or just to have good food with friends.

A Gem of a restaurant!. Finally, a nice place to go in the area when you don't just want a steak and mashed potatoes. Try the salmon! The spices are just right...in fact, I could have stood for a little more but it's better to err on the side of caution considering the crowd. Definitely recommended for nice "date night".
