Not worth 13.95 for irish coffee!. The other day me and a friend decided to go over to La Tosca restaurant for drinks after dining at the restaurant next door, Spasso (which i highly recommend!). My friend ordered a normal coffee and I ordered an irish coffee. I heard the waitress ask one of the other waiters, maybe the manager, the price of the irish coffee but i didn't think to listen to the answer. When the bill came they had charged me 13.95 for 1 small irish coffee when my friends normal coffee was around 2.00. Our waitress was very pleasant but the other servers, particularly the male, were very rude! This was ridiculous! I am not sure if this was the correct price but i will definately never be returning there again! I do not reccommend this restaurant.

Best Restaurant Ever. I went there with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and we had the best experience ever, the service is amazing, the servers were very friendly and they were very atentive to our needs. They had every kind of wine that you could imagine and the food, o my the food, I don't know if their cook came from another planet to cook such amazing food like that, but all I can say about the food is that it is AMAZING and now I am addicted to it. I want to eat it every day. We have been there so many times that now some of the servers knwo us by name. I love the place, the food, the service, the atmosphere. YOU GOT TO CHECK IT OUT!!!

Outstanding food, excellent service!!. I regularly eat at Italian restaurants throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, and I can honestly say that La Tosca's food is delicious and outstanding. It's wine selection is excellent. And the prices are quite reasonable, as well. I have tried a number of different dishes ranging from salads and antipasti to pasta, fish, veal, lamb and desserts, and they are all very good. In fact, I know people who work at other Italian restaurants and they come here to enjoy dinner after work.

Wow - Italian Heaven in San Carlos. We went for the dessert that a friend recomended, zabione <sic> por due, which really did cap off a fantastic meal. The pasta was perfect, with a great pesto sauce, my wife had fettucini with clams which she loved. The staff was attentive, but left us time to enjoy our conversation.

We are going again soon, and want to again enjoy the very romantic booths together

Some of the worst italian food i have ever eaten. The fried calamari was soggy, all the sauces on the entrees tasted horrible, and the service was bad even though there were only a few other people in the restaurant.

Excellent!. La Tosca has some of the best food on the Peninsula.
