Nice Pizza. Erica and I went to Amici's to meet with our long time favorite Colombian friend Camilo Garcia. It was a simple, cheap and fast meal that worked for everyone, especially Camilo since it is across the street from EA.

We ordered a large pizza to share for three, which was a perfect size and quantity. Our taste buds were undecided so we split the pizza half vegetarian and half pollo. Both types were very good and reminded Erica of a local version of CPK. The crust had a nice buttery flavor and the cheese was not a low budget filler. I enjoy eating in California because in most cases ingredients come from local producers and are seasonally fresh. This can be experienced even at a pizza shop. Amici's is a chain so next time you're looking for 'za in CA, Amici's is a good choice.

You can never go wrong with pizza!. Besides having thin crust pizza which is my favorite, here are the standouts for Amici's: *vegan cheese- not that I want to order that, since I prefer real cheese, but for those days when I want to cut back on my dairy intake or pretend to be vegan, great option to have

*low carb crust- again, not that I want to cut back on carbs or the crust since I love my carbs, but if I ever feel like it, at least I know I have the option to order this way.

*unique and original pizzas- check out their menu, the options are so good, i think our group of 6 ordered 6 pizzas!

Yes I've tried the low carb, vegan cheese pizza, and it was pretty darn good. Not as good as the high carb, dairyful cheese pizza, but pretty good if you are on a diet or trying to be vegan.

I've also had their other pizzas and so far to date, there has been nothing I didn't like.

My favorite as of this minute is probably the clam pizza.

YUM.

Hot fresh pizza and more. Our family enjoys Amici's on a regular basis. The staff is polite and efficient. The food arrives piping hot and is delicious. The salads are very good and big enough to share. it is a little expensive compared to other pizza though.

Rockin the Pizza World. I am a pizza expert. I've had them the world over and this is in the top 3. Crust is the perfect density of thick and thin. Great taste all by itself. They "dark bake" the pizzas in the now common wood fired oven, so this gets the crust real crisp and the toppings nicely browned. Many places have these super hot ovens and they cook the pizza so fast, the toppings and crust are not properly done. Another reason they're the best here is the pepperoni. They are small little thick cut spicy guys. They curl up with a puddle of grease and a crisp edge. I never said it was healthy! All the toppings are of equal high quality which all helps make this a winner. All of the food is decent, but dont waste your time. Do the pizza. You will be back...
