Poor Customer Service - They Just Don't Get It!. Bad experience. What a shame. Wanting to support a local business, we bought our wedding rings here. A month after the ceremony one of the diamonds fell out of one of the custom-made rings. The reaction from this store was nothing short of underwhelming. After verbally indicating they would charge only a "nominal" fee for repair they called a few days later and quoted a three-figure replacement price for the lost gem, claiming the ring was "perfect" when it left the store and must have been damaged. Without any assurance from the store that the replacement diamond wouldn't fall out, too, we decided to replace the diamond with a fake. Gold Time charges us a "nominal fee" of more than $70 for that choice. Needless to say, they just don't get customer service. We will take our jewelry business elsewhere from now on."
