Great place for a Burger and Beer. Finally a place that knows what "rare" means! They have great service and their place is always clean. Plus they have something like 15 beers on tap!

Great Service. Very Good Food. Fun Atmosphere..
The food is always very good, and they'll readily substitute items on the menu, for example, they let me have spinach salad instead of rice as a side.
You must try the ribs, they're the best.
They've got the best selection of beer on tap, anywhere.

Like this restaurant, it is consistent.
City Pub is a great place to leisurely eat outdoors and have your dogs with you. The salads, crab cakes and other fare is pretty good for a pub in Redwood City of all places!! Beer and wine is decent too.
It is also nice to sit inside when it is a chilly evening near the fire and watching whatever they have on TV.

A chain "pub" in the suburbs. Waiter was hard to track down on several occassions. Food is sub-par at best and the beer selection is weak even by regional standards. I won't be returning. Disclosure, I'm from the east coast where real pubs and real beer selections exist, so take the review for what it's worth, but "California pub" makes about as much sense as trying to find California cuisine in Boston or New York. This "pub" might be ok for locals, but anyone that knows beer will be severely dissapointed.

Good food, great beer selection!. City pub is a fun place to go. Neat decor, friendly staff, and never crowded. The food is mostly America, generous portions and good. 20+ beers on tap, average $4-5 a pint.

I love City Pub!. City Pub quickly became my favoite hangout in RWC. The food is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. The food is a few notches above regular pub fare. The potato wedges are great, and the selection of beers is always fun. I'd highly reccomend.
