Although this 500-acre park just east of the 280 freeway near San Mateo doesn't boast the dramatic scenery of many other Bay Area parks, it outclasses all of those locales in one very important characteristic--accessibility. This is an ideal stop for San Francisco-Silicon Valley commuters who want a quick nature fix on the way home from work.
