Best Massage I've had in SF.
This place is just what you need. No frills and takes care of business. They have two locations which is convenient. I've lived around the US and had massages in each place. I realize each therapist has their own techniques. Here most therapists listen to me and take care of my needs. One is great for my legs (if I was walking or hiking), one lessens my migraines and each allows me relax all over. You really have to try a therapist until you find one (or more) you're comfortable with. They have no problem with you seeing others within the practice. Your needs come first. They seem like down to earth people here.

great massage for a decent price.
I've been a client at Hazel's for a few years. the three different massage therapists that I've seen have been very good. Their massages are very different, but still get the kinks out. It is not a posh place, but very homey, which is what makes me very comfortable. You could pay more and go to a "spa" type place, but you're not going to get as good a massage.

Not exactly stellar and definitely not relaxing.
It wasn't so much the masseuse as the atmosphere that let me down. The table coverings and personal drapes seemed like leftover parts of sheet sets, worn through the years by so many washings. The rooms were cramped and the whole experience just wasn't worth it. I found it difficult to relax. I could see this place for more of a physical therapy type thing but because it's just simple, down-to-business, sometimes painful type of massage.
