Great Breakfast Place!. I've been going to Stacks for a few months now and the food is great! I usually order the chocolate chip waffles and I enjoy it even more everytime. This is one of the few places that make a good waffle!! My bf always gets something different everytime and I always get a taste of it and they are pretty good. Go here for breakfast but it gets packed quick so go early around 8am and you'll get a seat for sure.

LONG WAIT, AVERAGE FOOD, TERRIBLE SERVICE. I waited for a table for 20 minutes. I then waited about 10 minutes to get OJ and place my order. I ordered a meal with an extra egg and dry toast. When the order came, I was missing the egg, and the toast had butter. This took another 10 minutes. By the time the order was fixed, the original portion was cold. When the check was brought, I immediately looked to see if I was charged for the extra egg (I wasn't). The server then comes to the table with a new receipt. She apologized and told me that she had given me the wrong paper. I was shocked to see that the updated receipt included the $1 charge for the extra egg. I hope that Stack's makes good use of the dollar that they swindled, because it will be that last dollar that they ever get from me!

mxlgst. This restuarant is the greatest place for breakfast. It takes forever to get a table but way worth it!! We had the greatest breakfast at the Campbell location. I hear they're opening another Stacks on the corner of Santa Cruz and El Camino in Menlo Park in August '02
