Awful service. We waited 20 minutes to be seated and another 30 for our order to be taken. Then they calculated the mandatory 18% gratuity post tax. The food was not that great.

Don't be fooled by the 4 star rating. I can't believe that people would actually give the restaurant 4 stars. The food was not edible, the meat was extremely dry, and it had no flavor at all. I eat Thai food frequently and this is by far the worst food. How do these people stay in business.

Spicy Food, Sweet Staff. This is one of my favorite Thai places, due in part to their excellent food, but also because of the super nice staff. The husband and wife team who run the place are hard working and very nice, they've always gone above and beyond to make sure we have a good meal. And we always do, because their food is excellent. They do yellow curries like nobody's business, the mus-a-mun curries are top notch, the chicken/potato dumplings have the best crust, and the spice level of the food will challenge even the most fire retardant palates. I learned to my detriment that while medium spicy may be tolerable in their food, their soups magnify the spice five fold. They have a variety of changing special fish dishes which are always excellent, and though it is not on the menu, our favorite dish there is the special crispy chicken. Good for vegetarians, they have an entire vegetarian menu. This is a great place for groups with a variety of dietary restrictions, there's something for everyone. It's a very small, unassuming place, but you can almost always walk in and get a table without waiting, the location is a bit tricky, and I think people tend to pass right by it without realizing that they're missing out on great food because of it's humble appearance. It is located in a small shopping complex with a small parking lot out front, the entrance to the lot is on the cross street, Palm Park.

The worse ever!. I ordered to go for lunch. I got lost looking for the place so it took me a while to get there. The person working there calls me on my cell phone and starts giving me attitude about me being late and how its taking me a long time.. even after me telling him I got lost and just found the restaurant! And granted.. I was only about 15 min. late of the time I said I'd be there by. So I get there, and I don't know if they were mad at the fact I was late, but the Pad Thai I ordered was the worse ever! It was super salty to the point where I could not even eat half of it and had no substance. The egg rolls were soggy and the filling was not appetizing at all! I would never go back!

Best Thai food on the Peninsula!!!. I can't say enough about the Woodside Thai Spot. Every dish is excellent. The yellow chicken curry is exceptional and I can't find a word to describe the mussaman beef. The restaurant itself is small with a family style atmosphere and the owner and staff are always pleasant and courteous. I live on the northern end of the peninsula and make the drive to Redwood City for the Woodside Thai Spot as often as I can. I have yet to find a better Thai experience.

Terrible food. There was essentially nothing worthwhile about our dinner at Woodside Thai Spot. The food was just downright terrible. I would go so far as to say it was almost not even edible. We threw away most of our food, and saved what we could for our cats. Avoid this restaurant! I hope we find better Thai food in this area...
