Huge omletes!. Went for the Valentine's Brunch and thought the food & service were both very good! I had the seafood omlete that was filled with tons of fresh crab meat, shrimp & mushrooms. All of the portions seem BIG. I'd like to go back for lunch or dinner. Lots of character & charm!

Weavie. The absolute best prime rib in the Bay Area with fresh garlic mashed potato! Very generous portions. Love the garlic spagetti! Prices are reasonable and the food is well worth it!

Great hangout. We just moved to Pacifica and had driven past the Vallemar Station restaurant many times before deciding to check it out. All I can say is I'm glad we did! The menu has something for everyone and the food was very good. Service was excellent and the ambience is friendly and homey. We'll definitely be back!

Local gem. My husband and I often dine here. We've never had a bad meal and we tend to be rather discriminating. They offer quality steaks, fresh seafood, creamy clam chowder, etc along with really the friendliest service. The bar has a bit of a sports bar feel to it but exudes a bit of charm and is a great place if you want to get a feel for the local surfers, artists, etc. The patrons are on occasion a bit colorful and the karaoke on Friday nights lends an entertaining touch.

User review by lord_humongous. Vallemar Station has a high class menu in a sports bar atmosphere. They have a good selection of steaks and everything we ate was delicious. However, the television sets everywhere make it feel like a bar. I recommend this place based on the food and good service. The atmosphere and location (right on Highway 1) are the only downside.

Hot and Juicy. Vallemar doesn't get the business it deserves. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, but if you love big meat and huge portions, this is your place. Prime rib, Pasta and a crab sandwich better than Nicks Rockaway are just a few reasons to stop by. Leave room for their outstanding caramel brownie sundae or carrot cake. The service is generally good, but even if the wait staff gets a bit bitchy, the garlic mashed potatoes or the rich and creamy clam chowder will take your mind off of it. A good place for celebratory get togethers.

Worth the trip. I first discovered Vallemar Station when I lived in Pacifica and I still make the trip from the city. Their steaks are outstanding and the building is an original Ocean Shore Railroad station. The bar area is a great place to watch the Niners and Giants.
