Don't bother with this place. when moving here 12 years ago everyone raved about nick's. ARGH! nick's is nothing but a fancy decorated greasy spoon with poor quality of food and horrible service.

It just seems to get more and more expensive and the service gets worse and worse, as does the quality of food. they only dish i've ever liked was the fried calimare. 5 thumbs down for this place

I really want Nicks to be great but....... argh!. OK- After a day in the pumpkin patches- coming back to San Francisco- we have stopped at Nick's for years. It just seems to get more and more expensive and the service gets worse and worse. It is the kind of restaurant you go to and hope the crowd, the service and all the aggravation doesn't overwhelm the evening. I know there are lots of people that love this place- probably mostly from happy memories there over the years. We finally gave up and started going to Miramar a few miles south. Love the place, the service, the food, the price, the inovative specials and an even better view. The waves are better at Nicks but you have to view them over a parking lot. Sorry, Nicks needs to get it together. Sad to say this.

Terra Nova High School Combined Class Reunion 69-78. I have done 3 Class reunions for my Class always had a "get together" on the Friday nite before. I would always speak with the owner of Nicks, whom, would do anything to help. He made sure he had more staff on board, anything else to make our nite memorable! We just had a combined Reunion Classes of 1969-1978 and the owner made sure he was fully staffed and accomodated the bands we liked, and I have to say they did an outstanding job. Nicks was Packed! We are planning to do this again probably next year and will be doing it at Nicks again. If there was a page where our classmates could thank them and compliment them on what a wonderful job they did, they would!

Thank you to Nicks and the staff you were awesome!! Be prepared we will be joining you again most likey next year! A great time was had by all!!! :)

Disappointed in service. Had lunch there yesterday. While the food was good my friend who ordered the same item didn't get pickles or the onions. Had to wait at least 10 minutes before we got the box to put in our leftovers. Waited additional 15 minutes for dessert to come which we had ordered when we requested the box. Service was a nightmare.

tasty eggplant fries. + amazing ocean view (rockaway beach)

+ cocktail prawns

+ pepper steak

+ eggplant fries - order this as a side and not as a meal

we love pepper on everything but we didn't have a pepper steak 'til we went to Nicks. it was incredibly spicy with all the pepper crusted over it; but wow, the medium rare steak under the pepper was sooo oh sooo good

+ prime rib

this is just as good as what we found under the pepper crust of the pepper steak. fabu!

+ handicap accessible

My favorite restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant. I have been to so many through out the city and i am pretty picky so you know it must be pretty darn good. Their blue cheese dressing is wonderful and their garlic bread is the best. I order the chicken parmigiana but everyone else i go there with gets the crab sandwich. If you have never been there you have to try it.

BEST CRAB SANDWICH. I first stoped in at NICKS in 2003. I have always heard that they have the BEST crab sandwich. Thanks to a close friend of mine who lives in Pacifica, she said there is none better.

And after ordering it (open face) I have got to say it's would be hard to beat. "I LOVED IT".

This passed week I drove from Everett, Washington to NICKS just to have a crab sandwich.

That might sound a bit crazy but I think NICKS is one of the BEST restaurants going. And being right there on the beach, what more could you ask for.

Keep up the GREAT job NICKS.

I'll be back soon.

Week-end breakfast favorite. My son and I go here every week-end for a wonderful breakfast, beautiful ocean view, excellent service. After having our full of delicious food we get to enjoy some fresh air and ocean.

I would recommend this to anyone for breakfast it was reasonably priced with a delicious menu.

I haven't had dinner there yet, but since it is so close to home I am sure we will be dining there sooner then later.

Best breakfast In Bay Area. Just had the best breakfast on a Tuesday morning. Waves breaking, sun shining through. Perfect over easy eggs with no East Coast-style burnt edges, beautiful shredded hash browns, real link sausages (not the brown'n'serve stuff found many other places), and the best toasted and buttered sourdough bread. Only $10, including OJ and a bottomless coffee. Wow !!!!!!!

Incredible View, Great Service. My group highly enjoyed a Sunday lunch at Nick's surrounded by patrons both local and tourist. The service was prescient and fast and the food was fresh and reasonably priced for seafood "with a view". Previous commentor on drink prices must've been overbilled as our bar tab for 4 that included beer and cocktails was less than $20. I would recommend Nick's to anyone looking for a great meal in Pacifica!
