Terribly food at outrageous prices!. We walked in the door, amused by Nicks' 50s Las Vegas lounge kitsch. Confronted with the extremely high prices on the menu, we almost decided to take a pass before even ordering beverages. The server was very nice, and the garlic bread was decent (good flavor but pretty greasy). We ordered the Honey Mustard Salad and the Calamari "Provencale" w/ Rotelle (which they were out of, so it showed up with Fettucini). The salad was a pile of lettuce with bits of canned pears and mandarin oranges and some almond slivers. The fettucini was obviously not prepared fresh (stuck together), the sauce was mostly butter with chunks of discolored tomotoes and some long thick slices of something posing as calamari. Even after generous application of lemon juice and cracked black pepper it was simply inedible. This restaurant charges fine French bistro prices and serves Denny's-quality meals. Avoid at all costs.

Fine Food OUTRAGEOUS BAR TAB. Went to Nick's based on reccomendation from the clerk at 7-11 up the road. Seated very promptly and in a huge booth (only 2 of us) at the window so we could look at the ocean. Food and service was great, but our total of $18.00 for a bottled Heineken and a draft Anchor Steam was way out of line. Also note their wine list is limited and equally outrageous.

Family Owned & Family Friendly. The garlic bread is wonderful. My husband particulary enjoys the Greek Salad. I share my juicy Beefeater Sandwich with him. When by girlfriend comes out from Rhode Island she always has Nick's famous Crab Sandwich. The service is very good. The ocean is spectacular.

Great View. Dinner was fantastic and the view of the Pacific Ocean was amazing. Prices were actually inexpensive compared to other resturants in the area, and the portions were larger. The service was fast and the personel were very friendly. After dinner we went to their lounge and danced to live music. It is a very romantic place.
