I had a very good experience working with Otto's to get my leaking dishwasher fixed. Polite and informative on the phone, easy to schedule with and ON TIME!, knowledgeable and fair. For the price, I couldn't have asked for more! I highly recommend this company if you are located in the Bay Area.

In home service can be difficult at times to arrange.

In this case our set appointment was 3-5 with a request to call thirty minutes before arriving. When her time came for service , we called. The first, second and third attempt were met with voice mail and, no response. An hour and a half later she called. Since there was no timely response, we continued with other work out of her area. Ms. Schuler insisted we were still obligated to come and service her appliance, since she called back in her 3-5 window, not considering her hour and a half delay in responding.

My experience as a customer was with the owner of the business - Otto. I was 2 minutes late returning his phone call for the service appointment - he was extremely rude on the phone, blamed me for not picking up my phone immediately, double booked some other person and never called back after promising to get back to me within 10 minutes. If the owner is so unprofessional, what can one expect from this business.

I had a problem with a brand new Thermador cooktop that stopped working after one day and Otto's business practices turned an already upsetting situation into a nightmare.

Use any other appliance service in the area, but don't go with Otto if you don't want to be blamed instead getting your appliance promptly serviced.
