In Short – Afterwards comes in two parts: a men's and women's shop and a bridal, maternity and children's store just up the block. What makes this shop unique is that, in an industry supposedly dominated by women's merchandise, it offers stylish, contemporary menswear. As with the men's offerings, the women's clothing is mostly from classic American and European designers like Calvin Klein, Dana Buchman, Ellen Tracy, Ann Klein, St. John, Escada and Armani.

RUDE! RUDE! OVERPRICED! OVERPRICED!

The people who work here obviously don't have any clue what customer service is. One of them bombarded me with aggressive behavior when I walked in, trying to persuade me to buy overpriced clothes, and then started to degrade me for not having any sense of what style is, because I didn't like their used, overpriced clothing. She actually asked me if I knew the difference between cotton and cashmere. By the way, I do know the difference...just like I know the difference between quality and this store. The other sales lady was the opposite, in that she not only didn't come over to help, but when I asked her about consignment, she basically just rolled her eyes and said that she just wasn't in the mood to talk about their consignment polcies that day. I have NEVER in my LIFE witnessed two more ANNOYING, RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, SELF-RIGHTEOUS women!!! NEGATIVE STARS FOR THIS PLACE!!!

Wedding dresses are priced from $200 to $2,000 and must be within two to three years of new. Children's clothing and accessories run from newborn through size 10, much of it brand new (look for the pretty Wee Clancy party dresses).
