What People Are Saying About Juban Yakiniku House Japanese

In Short – With its tony copper-and-black lacquer dining room, Juban breeds the kind of camaraderie you see in a fondue joint-everyone huddled around the eats, lending an opinion and a hand. The staff brings you slices of beef, hunks of veggies and chicken, and you cook it all up on the grill set into the table.

Great Japanese Barbeque

I just went here for the first time and I will be back. We had a great time and loved the concept since there isn't anything like it in the area. It is similar to fondu, but you only you are grilling your food. So you get to cook it how you like it. They have the best kobe steak and sake too.
Worst waiter in my life
by jubansucks at Citysearch
Reserved for my family for 7PM on 10/28. No one seated us for about 30 min. Even 2 walk-in groups were seated while I was kept waiting. I complained to the waiter but he treated me terribly. I asked for manager's contact, then he said it was posted outside so write down yourself! He refused to give his name to me. He even said "Behave yourself!". He eventually told me his name was 'Smith'. We walked out without eating. I complained to the manager next day and he told me he was Edward, not Smith. The waiter lied about his name. But manager did nothing about this guy. I used Juban a few times. OK food, terrible service all the time. I will never go again.
- Pros: OK quality BBQ
- Cons: Terrible service, Poor management, Expensive
Juban is fresh, delicious yakiniku
by lala15 at Citysearch
The official review editor is clearly unacquainted with the pleasures of real yakiniku. If her standard of taste is Benihana's, she obviously has very little range when it comes to Japanese food. Juban offers fresh, delicious Japanese yakiniku -- a nice variety at an affordable price. It's fun to go with friends and yes, you require a sophisticated palate.
- Pros: Fresh food, Fine beef, Vegetarian options
