GREAT FOOD!!.
We have been to Vals quite a few times and have never been disappointed. It's kind of old school, but what they lack in decor they more than make up for in their food, prices and staff!!
I usually order the filet mignon with shrimp. I highly reccommend it. The filet is every bit as good as any steakhouse downtown Sf without the ridiculous prices.
They also have a nice bar with lots of regulars who Karaoke Th - Sun.
Highly reccommend it!!
