Tiny place don't drive to fast.. This place is so tiny if drive too fast you will miss it. The food is excellent, service is fast and price is ok.

EXCELLANT. For my grandson birthday party we have order the ribs without the sauce to go. Mild Sauce on the side. Always a hit never any left to go. I would recommend to anyone looking for down home ribs.

BEST in the County!!!. The food is GOOD, the service is FAST, and if they make a mistake they FIX iT. So I can't complain. It's the BEST Fried Snapper around if you ask me. Keep it cookin!!!

Best ribs on the Peninsula!. Simply put, Catfish & Ribs is a place you need to visit if southern ribs are what you love!

Sure it's a hole-in-the-wall joint. But aren't all good place like this? Their ribs are great. Never dry and so good they just about one heartbeat away from an attack every time I go there. :-) I challenge any business to match the rib quality Catfish & Ribs turns out! You have to go to the east bay to find anything even close!

The catfish is also good. Just the right amount of batter. And the seasonings in the batter are done right too!

But wait! You just HAVE to save room for their peach cobbler. With that in mind you also have to get their early enough to get the cobbler. It's the best made anywhere bar none!

Here's a little travel secret on how to Catfish & Ribs: they located right next to the Colma BART station! Not a shady area. If you are driving and need a landmark beside BART then know they are right across from the brand new Toyota dealership that is going up in Colma, (used to be an old Albertson's before it was torn down)

The service itself was friendly. For the few tables they have the place is kept clean.

The only negative thing I have to say is my doctor will be all over my butt for enjoying such good food!

Sorry Gorrila BBQ (Pacifica), Catfish & Ribs is better than you for wonderful pork ribs (Yes, I live in Pacifica). The House of Catfish & Ribs continues to be THE PLACE if you want great BBQ!

Ribs to Die for, Literally!. Went there and obtained dinner for two families. Gloves were not worn by workers, cleanliness was non-existant, potatoe salad (lacking potatoes) was packed with hot food. Ribs were smothered in sauce, chicken was unedible, corn bread muffins were actually tasty. Catfish was alright, but packaged tartar sauce tasted old and lacked flavor. French fries were OK. Coleslaw given was old and expried and resulted in a day off work. Another eater had diahrea and the other four people were unaffacted. Wouldn't give the place another chance.

BBQ lovers beware!!. I love BBQ...Eat it about once a week. My boyfriend and I ordered a 3way to take home. Here's the full scoop...

Brisket: What Brisket? I've never been to a palce where they are so cheap with the brisket, they gave us two strips sliced up into pieces to make it look like alot.

Links: They were good but so are safeways!!!

Chicken: Bonier than a crackhead. They piled our order with a whole chicken that was still clucking on our plate...it was pink and rubbery. Had to throw it away

Potato Salad: Where the potato's at? Tasted like mush with relish. Denture FRIENDLY!!!

Cornbread: Dry as cement, pls eat with caution, or drink with water, choking is very possible. PASS THE BUTTER POR FAVOR!!!

To top it off they fool you with the appearance of the servings. We ordered a 3way with Chicken, Brisket and Links. The first reaction is wow there's so much food...Then it all comes to light. They cut up the crackhead chicken and cover it with the links and brisket giving the appearance of a full order for like 5 people. OH NO NO NO, pls do not eat here but do recommend this place to people you do not like!! The people have spoken!!!

OK, but can't write home about it!!. Ribs were tender and parts were a bit burnt. Sauce was OK, but not to "wow" for. Person on duty was friendly, but then again we were the only ones in the restaurant.

Real BBQ at last. Damn! Now I'm moving E.Bay I find this gem: real bbq in an authentic setting, no Disneyesque "Suthren" atmosphere. Appropriately shabby, clean, small place with ENORMOUS servings of delicious 'cue. Service slow but owner couldn't have been nicer--ribs and bbq chicken weren't ready so we had huge serving of bbq beef and wings and she gave us tastes of links and catfish. Beef, potato salad, links (YUM), catfish, fries were great. Only fried chicken wings were disappointing. I'd go back again and again. It was like going down East where I come from. NO KIDDING!

Went back--had ribs with sauce on the side--only way to do it--ribs juicy, tender, wonderful. Sweet potato pie yuccky--too much orange in it, stringy sweetpotatoes. Stick with the meat!

THE BEST DALY CITY HAS TO OFFER. GREAT PLACE TO GO FOR EXCELLENT BBQ AND/OR FRIED FISH, TASTY SIDE DISHES AND DESSERT AS WELL.
