The Worst

CG been around since 1956, which made me to believe they do good work. The day I purchased my appliances - I asked if they sold sinks and faucets and they did. The salesman quickly gave me a quote for the faucet but said needed more time for the sink. I'm still waiting after 3 months. Points taken off. Next - I went to the store to make a payment - another salesman there gave me attitude when I questioned his methods when I handed over the check. He should have taken the high road and let the issue go. More points taken off. Once, I made the final payment and advised of the delivery date all seemed in order. Never did my salesman mention cost of delivery from my first meeting or when I called to schedule the delivery. When they did deliver my appliance, it was left on the curbside. Luckily, someone called me ASAP; So I could called the store and properly deliver the appliance in my house. That's it - all points gone! Reading reviews from other sites - there are more cons than pros. My contractor and I won't deal with CG Appliance. I'll deal with Sears from now on.

Okay prices, HORRID INSTALL AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I purchased $2000.00 dishwasher form C&G and had them install. The price was okay, I picked them for how local they were not price. It took a group of 5 to install and between them they couldn't get it right. They merely rigged it to worked and told me it was installed. They didn;t hook it to hot water, the used to small of plumbing fittings that caused problems, and failed to install the metal plate between the dishwasher and counter top to portect the counter. They won't fix it or refund the install so we can have someone else fix, They are giving us complete run around, and won't return phone call. These people are a joke and I have filed comlaints to a higher place as it seems to be my only recourse. I would have been happy if they just came out and fixed and added missing parts but they want several hundred dollars to fix heir mistake. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM C&G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
