Seattle-based coffee chain lures caffeine addicts with upscale roasts, caramel frappuccinos, shaken iced teas and an extra shot of trendiness..
For many, getting their daily jolt of java has become a daily morning ritual, and the cardboard cup with its infamous green label is the close companion of every coffee aficionado. Busy baristas work seamlessly behind the bar, juggling orders for their strongly-brewed drips and signature hot and cool beverages. While providing a wide selection of coffee specialties, pastries and various coffee related goods, patrons are invited to settle down in comfy armchairs and enjoy their favorite brews amid the chatter of the laidback yet caffeinated crowd.
Take it from a barista. I have worked at local coffee shops before and I have to say that Starbucks has been the best. And no, our coffee doesn't sit in pots all day long...we have to re-brew it every hour according to our rules, whether or not its been even touched. Our pastries are fresh EVERY morning and our coffee is delevered weekly in airtight bags! I know Starbucks may not be everyone's favorite but it shouldn't be for freshness sake. Its a great place to work too! Sure it may take a long time to get your drink sometimes in a rush, but its not as easy as it looks to make 1000 drinks a day!
