Princess cake is amazing. it is a great cafe / bakery on Burlingame ave. I always find myself ordering more than necessary when I'm there :) Princess cakes there are my favorite, followed by their strawberry short cake.

Breakfast is ok, but horrible carrot cake. I've been to copenhagen for breakfast before and well it has ok food. Nothing bad but nothing special either. Just regular tasting pancakes and danishes and such. You could buy similar tasting Danishes at Safeway. Well today they totally dropped the ball when I ate their carrot cake. I decided to try buying a carrot cake there for my birthday since the place wuz generally known to specialize in desserts and boy was that a bad mistake. The cake was dry, had a lemon taste to it, had barely any carrot bits, didn't even taste like carrot cake, and the frosting wuz all hard and cheap. It had more of a very dry sponge cake taste. This is coming from a college student that is in love with funfetti (the rainbow bits cake u can make by pillsbury). I've tried carrot cakes from many different restaurants including cattlemens, buckhorns steak house, baker's square, cheesecake factory, max's diner, and safeway. I also generally like cakes from anywhere ranging from safeway/albertsons to Costco to the more expensive by the slice bakeries. This is by far the worst carrot cake I've ever eaten and it cost an arm and leg too! $18!!! Just a bad ending to a good day. (It's my bday today)

has gone downhill. Copenhagen was so charming about 10-15 years ago. I used to go there to get really good cakes or have a cozy lunch. Now it's about on par with Le Boulanger- only Copenhagen has higher prices.

crispy pancake edges! mmmm!. Great pancakes. Usually I'm not a big fan of pancakes but these are different. The edges are crispy and I'm a fan of crispy. It's also fluffy on the inside. Does that make sense? They're just not thick and spongy and definitely worth trying. Go inside to order at the counter and to pay. Find your seating and the food will find you. Good prices.

So good you will want to. come back for more. They have the best cakes and desserts in all of Northern California - Princess Cake, Eclairs, and my favorite, Devils Cheesecake = a bottom layer of an apple pie + cheesecake + chocolate cake, makes this cake the best!!! But you do have to order it in advance!! Sunday brunch is also the best! Good-bye Stacks and Hello Copenhagen!

Looking for a good bakery? Stop looking.. Their cakes are absolutely to die for. Whever I have to bring in a dessert for work, this bakery is where I go. I wanted them to make my wedding cake as well, but they wouldn't deliver to the city I was having the reception at (too far). If you just want to taste a variety, pick up a couple of single slices. Highly recommended.

Simply The Best!. My favorite bakery, period. The pastries are excellent, and well worth the elevated price. Highly recommended!
