A big disappointment. My husband and I tried the Steelhead brewing company off of a recommendation by a co-worker. We are sorry we listened. Our waitress was very unfriendly and not service oriented. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich for 11.95, the chicken wings for 9.95, and the jambalaya for 16.95 and were dissatisfied with every part of our meal. The chicken sandwich had no flavor, the jambalaya was a little better, but for 16.95 came in a basic white bowl with no accompaniments. All in all the only thing good about the meal was the beer sampler. We will never go back!

Poor service. I had been to Steelhead Brewery in Burlingame twice, and attempted to return for the 3rd, but thanks to the staff, I know I won't be returning again. They are not very motivated to provide any service.

1st time: Went with a group of coworkers for lunch. Server came by, realized we were not ready, and didn't return for at least another 10 - 15 mins, despite our efforts to "flag him down". Perhaps server was having a bad day, he made sure that we knew he's serving, by literally dropping the plates on the table.

"3rd time": Called to make a reservation for 12, mentioned that a couple of them are unconfirmed. Staff on the other end said they can only take reservations for 12 or more, and she hung up on me! Enough to drive me away from this place for good.

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Sup on full-bodied micro brews and straightforward American classics amid soaring ceilings, exposed brickwork and a bustling atmosphere.

Really Good Beer. I recommend the Steelhead Brewing Co. based solely on their beer and atmosphere. The food is average and overpriced for the quality you get. The service is also average and on the weekends there can be a long wait for a table.

However, their beers are great and they have a really nice pool room in the back. I will go back but probably not for a meal.

Just Ok. Some friends had held a party there a couple days ago. The bar area was rather small to accomadate 50 people. They did have pool tables, but they got in the way sometimes. The drinks were average in price, but the bartender didn't know or have alot of ingredients to make the drinks we wanted. I haven't tried their food, but if you plan on going to bar area, I'd recommend going with a smaller group of people.
