Thank you baby Jesus, chefs James Moisey and Shane LaValley who thrilled at Broken Record in the Excelsior have moved back to civilization (ok,the Haight) to make us happy campers yet again with their wickedly good versions of comfort food, from lobster mac and cheese to bacon burgers and do not pass go do not collect $200 without trying the Crawshrimp Grits with house sausage, plenty of cheese and spicy shrimp broth or the world’s best pecan pie.
