Editorial Review for Eberle Winery – by Tara de Lis
In Short
Gary Eberle has been an area winemaker since the early '70s, and led the effort to for the establishment of a Paso Robles appellation. At his career high, he produced half a million cases annually for what is now Meridien Vineyards; at his own winery, it's a fraction of that, but still a respectable 25,000. The rustic tasting room sells everything from boar-logo merchandise to wire roosters. Many people can't help but wander outside to the expansive wooden deck and its sweeping vineyard views.
