Food has no boundaries. I have been coming to this spot since high school (almost 10 years now) and I have never been disappointed. Most would feel that an establishment that offers a multitude of cuisines (Vietnamese, American and Italian) would be horrible. That is simply not the case. Americana provides large, delicious portions at cheap prices. The service is always friendly and on top of things. Unless they close or change the way they operate, I will continue to come here for another ten years at least.

A Great Place to Meet with Friends. I have been a regular at American Grill since they have opened over 9 years ago. The staff have always been very welcoming and friendly. The menu has grown over time to include everything you would crave for. They have the best burgers and cheesesteak sandwiches. Their entrees also include chicken, steaks, pork chops and italian pasta. However, if you feel more like having a lighter meal, their variety of Asian dishes are delicious and healthy. They also have daily specials that are very reasonably priced. This restaurant is a great place to meet friends for lunch or have a dinner party. They are large enough to accomodate large groups and reservations are recommended, this place gets crowded during rush hours. I love coming here and will continue to visit. I have yet to sample everything on their menu!

What a great find. If you have kids, have you ever had the time where one kid wanted breakfast for dinner, asian another, americanized italian for another when the HAD to eat, like, right now, and don't want to listen to them bicker, or, if you don't have kids, wanting to just chill with a well cooked home meal, try Americana Grill. Good, simple service. Not many frills here; you don't feel you need them. 6 page menu chocked full of goodies. Well cooked food. The Italian tomato based sauce was blandorific, but the Italian Sausages was perfection. Great burgers. Terrific pho' and rice plates. Portions are HUGE - I only eat half of my meal here! Here's a great place for both emergency food and unrushed chatting meal experience. Really a good value. A great Outer Richmond find. Watch out, this place gets full. Upper level better light than lower.

Best Burgers. Honestly, if you want a tasty burger go here. Nice and juicy on a fresh french roll. If you're looking for a "clean" burger, this is not the place! A poor man's In 'n Out burger and w/o the hastle!

Gigantic portions and cheap too!. In all honesty, the food served here is on the bland side. But what makes this place worthwhile to go to (especially since it is way out in the Richmond district) is the very hearty portions they serve. The menu basically consists of comfort foods, like pork chops, burgers, pastas, etc.. I believe most if not all of the entrees are under $10, so you get your money's worth. I definitely recommend this restaurant for those who have a really large appetite.
